It's possible that the DNS information is simply propagating slowly, and this will clear up in a few more days. But if if does not, you should go back to your domain registrar and/or hosting provider and ask them to track down the problem. Ditto. That's what I get too!! Some further investigation seems to be in order. Go for it! kath ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2004 15:26:26 -0500 From: "Kristen Myshrall" Subject: [lucy-list] Re: Problems viewing lk.net I will definitely investigate this tomorrow and get in touch with the company. "I Had Someting" was the track played -- at 9 a.m., the first song of the day on my pal Tom's show called "Fresh Tracks," a fantastic local public radio station in Oregon that airs NPR. Joyce Eugene, Oregon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Jan 2004 01:37:41 -0500 From: "Kristen Myshrall" Subject: [lucy-list] Snow, songs, stories, a moose and a new cd...1/14 NH show Just got in from the New Hampshire show...Lucy's first show back. It was a great show...Lucy was in a great mood, very emotional and we heard tons of Molly stories (who was sound asleep at the hotel with Rick during the show). I'm trying to figure out why it is that everytime I travel to see Lucy I either get stuck in a blizzard or something goes wrong with my car....the snow was awful coming home and it was SOOOOO cold...the bank near the venue said -8. About 10 miles from the venue, in the middle of nowhere, a car came at me flashing his high beams and i figured there was a cop ahead. It wasn't exactly a cop...more like a moose in the middle of the road. Nothing like slamming on your brakes when the roads are icy....i figured I'd take my chances with a tree I didn't care to hit a moose. All was good though and I made it home safe and sound :) The venue was very nice...inside a restaurant and there were about 40 people there. The setlist was Cowboy Singer Written on the Back of His Hand I Had Something -- Said it was her first show back and this was the first time she had worn lipstick in 3 month. Told the crowd about becoming a mom and how fantastic Molly is, she sleeps from 7-7 every night. She was very emotional. After much prodding sang us the song she made up and sings to Molly when she changes her diaper to make her laugh The Red Thread (got all choked up) Don't Mind Me Brooklyn Trains (on guitar...gorgeous!!) -- Story about their first night with Molly, how they brought her back to the hotel, changed her diaper and bathed her, put her to sleep, Lucy then got sick and was lying in the bathroom throwing up when some "very attractive" woman came to the door and Rick responded to her with "umm I don't think so and closed the door"...Molly slept through the whole thing and woke up the next morning with a smile on her face...all in all "Rick is an amazing dad" Ten Year Night Scorpion Line in the Sand (which has totally grown on me! This may be one of my favorites) -- Needed an upbeat song which wouldn't make her cry...someone suggested ... Turn the Lights Back On -- "This song doesn't work anymore...I'm not angry anymore" -- Story about how clueless they are about parenting and how when changing Molly's diaper the second night they had her they had the diaper off and couldn't figure out why she was "gushing something"...took them a minute before they realized what it was and ran her to the bathroom :) This is Home (she was all choked up singing it (i'm not sure how she got through the second verse) and said it was the first time she had sang it since getting Molly) -- said that she had written that long before they knew about Molly and that the line about not hearing her first word wasn't right...she did hear it...a few weeks ago Molly said her first word "mama" and how when she went back to the hotel to eat dinner with them before the show when she walked in Molly looked up at her, gave a big grin and said "Mama!" - -- once again needed something that wouldn't make her cry. Someone suggested.... By Way of Sorrow Land of the Living -- last week they flew to CA to visit Grandma and Grampa for the first time. Lucy and her dad did a performance for Molly.... On An Asteroid With You -- lucykaplansky.com will be completed changed in a few weeks with brand new information Guinevere Encores: Song for Molly -- "wow some of these songs have taken on a whole new meaning now" Speaking with the Angel For those who don't want to know about the new cd and read what it says inside skip the rest of this message! The new cd is in...it looks fantastic and I love the choice of songs. The pictures are beautiful (very Flesh and Bone all grown up) and the whole booklet is gorgeous. I'll try to get the pages scanned and up online tomorrow after some sleep. The booklet starts with a note from Lucy which reads... "There is an ancient belief in China that when a child is born, invisible red threads reach out from the child's spirit to all of the important people who will be part of the child's life. The threads may tangle but they will never break. As I'm writing this my husband, Rick, and I are preparing to take the most important journey of our lives, traveling to China to adopt our infant daughter, Molly Fuxiang. The Red Thread is the story of many threads that tie me to those who have touched my life, especially my husband, my family, and my daughter. It is through them that I have found a home."
