Basically as I update the site a signal is sent down the chain to the local DNS's telling them they need to update their system to see the new information. Unfortunately some service providers are slow about this. The problem seems to especially be with small service providers. I've tried to make the site as simplistic enough as possible so that every browser can view it successfully...and minus the fairly large size of the opening graphic and the picture pages--which may take 20+ sec to load on a very slow connection...all pages of the site pass the test for all browsers and speeds. I checked it out last night on a friends machine who is running on a slow connection with an outdated browser and was able to view everything fine...but then I know another person who lives in a fairly rural area but has a major company for their high speed internet who couldn't view it. We realized that she only had this problem with smaller sites that are updated fairly frequently. She called and harassed them to update their system more often so she could see the sites and voila...now she can! Ok that was long... but the moral is...call your service provider and tell them to update more often and to include the entire web not just portions!
