Funny: As I was marvelling about how quiet it has been on the Lucy-list lately it dawned on me that it is very likely the exact OPPOSITE of quiet at the Lucy-home lately. Ha! (Waah! Waah! Waah! Been there, done that!) It is so quiet on this list, in fact, that I intend to play all of Lucy's CD's backwards this weekend and search for hidden messages in the garble. Hopefully I will uncover the identity of the subject of Lucy's "angry" trilogy. Wsih me lcuk! Too funny, Timothy! Yes, it's been quiet on the list...I just got back to town after an extended Thanksgiving, and am currently NOT seeing Susan Werner and Patty Larkin as I had intended, because there's too much SNOW in these here parts to make me want to head up to Irvington. (I am also missing Dar and Suzanne Vega and John Hiatt at the Bottom Line, and I think the Nields in CT---this was a day of MANY shows I wanted to go to, and I have ended up at none of them! (I wonder if they will all go on as scheduled, given the weather.) Anyway, there must be an epidemic of mixing things up in these quiet days of the Lucy-list...while you have been pondering playing Lucy's albums backward (let us know what secrets you discover!), I have found myself madly anagramming in my head for no useful purpose whatsoever. A couple of nights ago I was trying a whole bunch of names (thanks to too much caffeine before bed) and Lucy's was the best and the easiest: A LUCKY SKY PLAN Timothy...or eTimothy, as you had to be before I could do anything---I"m afraid you have to settle for CITY HOME TUBER. Or, with a bit of license on spelling, the rather more conversational: CITY BOTHER ME. U? I've sunk to anagramming on the Lucy-list? Help! That new Lucy album can't come out soon enough... Benay or, confusingly, BE A BABY URN P.S. Speaking of new albums, my on-list congratulations to Libby Wiebel, much treasured Lucy-lister, on a truly gorgeous CD---The Wait-a-While Estates was worth the wait! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 05 Dec 2003 22:35:45 -0500 From: Phil Kalina <76106.566@compuserve.com> Subject: Re: [lucy-list] All quiet....?
