He wrote books such as Technopoly, Amusing Ourselves to Death, and The End of Education, that bitterly attacked how technology has destroyed our ability to appreciate culture and serious content. His theories and books sound fascinating. Alas, I only wish I had learned about them prior to his passing, and could have heard him speak and/or communicated with him. Nonetheless, maybe I'll get a chance to read his books. Any Lucy Lovers read any of his books? Agree? Disagree? Would like to hear your opinions. Still you can't help but feel that yesterday's ferry boat accident has affected the entire NYC area, considering that 70,000 people ride the ferry every day.
