Mom & Dad were in the audience and dad came up to play piano for That's Mathematics and Song About Pi. Lucy showed us pictures of the new baby and was reminded by Nina Gerber that tonight (9/21) was the 18th anniversary of the night she met Rick (Lucy said she called him right before she went onstage). She was almost in tears several times (as was I). Full set list tomorrow - we did get Every Living Thing and This Is Home but not The Thread (maybe she's not ready to play it for mom yet). We also got Brooklyn Train. Wow. And Ring of Fire and What's So Funny 'Bout Peace Love & Understanding. Nina Gerber is amazing. susan in alameda p.s. Lucy says hi to Denise and says you look fabulous (I showed her the picture of us from Provincetown) p.p.s. Lucy remembered me ("Oh MY God you're Susan - you came to Redwood City and San Francisco") p.p.p.s. I must go to bed now ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V5 #189 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
