I have to be at work during GMA and after four years of owning this particular VCR (which i rescued form my brother's trashbin and fixed... I can fix it, just not program it). But someone on this list HAS to tape this. I will trade three lucy shows for this one, i have them on minidisc and have waited over a year to put them on CD b/c I'm quite frankly rather lazy about non work and non school things. Secondly, I've wanted to learn to highlight my own hair since it costs so darn much. If it works for Benay then I'll be at FRFF with my at home blond and red highlights! break a leg benay... and make sure to NOT get chemicals in your eyes :-) ~Simona - --- Benay Bubar wrote: > > I have only two cavities. You ought to put some red in---maybe that's what you need!" They promised that I could get hair more suitable to me. To calm my color fears, I would have liked facts--- What if my hair turned brick red and I couldn't change it back? (Though surely I'd get sympathy, I'd be beside myself... I'd have to go off alone and hide by myself...) Put the highlights on... Put the highlights on... That plain brunette you knew is dead and gone...she's dead and gone. I could go to an expert who would know everything But highlighting my OWN hair could be such a dangerous thing; I might look in the mirror and recoil at what I'd see And how would I survive it if that got on TV? Could I just sit there, calm my fears, and wash it all away? (Though there are people this stuff works for...there's a chance I'd want to let it stay...) Why didn't it occur to me to ask about the dye? But it just didn't...and if it's permanent, I might have to cry. Put the highlights on... Put the highlights on... That plain brunette you knew is dead and gone...she's dead and gone... They promise that they'll tell me what I have to do; I'm trusting them; they say I am supposed to. But should they take my glasses, I cannot even see My hand before my face...much less me. So I'm not sure I'll know what to do, and I might not be able to see... And I'd have been better off with nothing...nothing... Put the highlights on... Oh...Put the highlights on... That plain brunette you knew is dead and gone...dead and gone... She's dead and gone... ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Feb 2003 15:17:05 -0500 From: Donna Myers Subject: [lucy-list] Re: to put it another way Benay....Are you sure you're not related to Weird Al Yankovic??
