I'm NOT a songwriter but thought cleaver fit better in the kitchen. Lucy told me that she would have to talk to David Massengill before she could change it! BUT, if Dad can rewrite the words to the alphabet song, then Lucy should have some liberties. However, she probably likes the words just as written by David. Anybody on the list agree with me? Probably because I like the phrase "tenderized the wall," which did stand out for me. However, now that you say something, I think the word cleaver would have been better. Meat cleaver is too many syllables.
