Great venue, great sound, great performance! The highlight for me was when Lucy asked if Caitlin was in the audience. (Caitlin is my nine year old daughter, who had heart surgery early last year, and was then diagnosed with Crohn's disease a few weeks later.) She asked Caitlin to meet her after the show, where they spoke and Lucy signed a poster and CD. Thank you very much RockinRonD, who emailed Lucy and set this up! Each year, my daughter's school has a talent show, and Catie and I always perform together. Last year, I played guitar while Catie sang "Loch Lommond". A few months ago, Catie decided that this year, we would do "Land of the Living". When I told Lucy about this, she said it was a real honor for her that Catie wanted to do her song. I think Catie is still smiling! Kevin Edward Rose "Whoever kindles the flames of intolerance in America is lighting a fire underneath his own home." -- Harold E. You MUST make a tape of that performance and get it to Lucy. If you don't have a direct connection, I'm sure someone here would deliver it for you. I played Land of the Living in my 6th grade class this year on September 11. My students still ask to hear it. Let us know when the talent show is so we can all send good vibes to you and your audience! I need to have good stories for my soul 'cause this job of mine gets real hard some days. Thank you so much. Keep in touch.
