That is definitely Lucy. Lucy AND Jennifer Kimball! You'll be adding this to your CD shelf immediately. Lucy has sung with these guys, off and on, through the past several years. You can hear more via the samples on the amazon.com site. Here's what the amazon blurb had to say: <> One of the best of 2001. ~R. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gina" To: Sent: Saturday, December 21, 2002 11:27 PM Subject: [lucy-list] Wayfaring Strangers > So, I pop this Yankee music sampler into my car CD player. I could have realized this earlier had I looked closely at my tickets, but it appears that the Women in Folk show on March 29th at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ will feature not Kaplansky, Reagon, and Werner, but Kaplansky, LARKIN, and Werner! I can't remember seeing anything with Lucy and Patty Larkin both involved before...both were at Falcon Ridge a couple of years ago, but I don't recall their doing anything onstage at anywhere near the same time. (I am also a little puzzled because I swear that WAY back I thought Cheryl Wheeler was involved with this date somehow...but if that was ever true, it doesn't seem to be now.) Anyway, dare I hope that Kaplansky, Larkin, and Werner will ALL sing something together at some point that night in March? The very thought brings shivers of anticipatory delight... Patty Larkin's schedule, incidentally, lists her at the Clearwater Hudson River Revival in June...don't think she's been there before since I've been going, so that should be neat. Clearwater isn't on Lucy's schedule...which is worrisome...but NOTHING is on Lucy's schedule for June yet, so there's no proof she WON'T be there...here's hoping...
