Just a note to say: 1. No transit strike after all---I am HOME, and delighted about it. 2. A kind U.K. Lucy-lister agreed some weeks back to provide me with my first taste of bourbon biscuits (discussed here some time ago, during Lucy's U.K. tour), and they arrived yesterday. What a heavenly experience! Hard for me to admit, but they even beat Oreos. I believe (and this could have some bearing on my continual search for a corporate sponsor to allow me to travel to more Lucy shows) that we should make the bourbon biscuit the official cookie of the Lucy-list! It was the first time I saw Lucy, she was great. I can't wait for the next shows. Steve Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Lucy has no particular affinity for them that I know of (although I now most definitely do!). In other words, not a whole lot you've missed if you've joined us recently...but sorry if I confused anybody...the Lucy list just tends to turn into a Random Educational Forum once in a while. She did When I Get to the Border in L.A.????!!!! Sigh...that goes on my list of Songs I Know Lucy Has Sung Live Somewhere in the Past Couple of Years But Never When I've Been There. The list now consists of: When I Get to the Border Texas Blues Edges White Christmas (OK, I heard her do that on the radio, but I don't think I've heard it live) Yes, the title of the list is almost longer than the list...I could add You Just Need a Home but I don't know if she's brought that out in ages (anyone ever heard her do it?...well, Sharon, you probably have)...and while I've never heard A Child's Hands I know she doesn't do that one live. Probably no one cares about my little list...I just had to register envy. You may not get Lucy in CA as often as we get her out here, but sounds like you did get a true Lucy rarity. Benay P.S. The Scottish song was Loch Lomond. Unless she's learned any other Scottish songs lately! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Dec 2002 22:09:21 -0600 From: "Gina" Subject: Re: [lucy-list] LA show setlist Thanks Ed. Boy, I missed a LOT of it when I posted. It was nice to get this set list because it reminded me of just how good the concert was. BTW, the Scottish song that she did is "Loch Loman" as far as I know. Does it have a different name? We used to sing that song in grade school choir :o) Gina - ----- Original Message ----- From: Ed Nomura To: Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2002 6:30 PM Subject: [lucy-list] LA show setlist > This is the setlist that I have for the LA show on Sat.
