she can get Shindell to sing on Love Hurts
and Gorka to remake.. Rtn of the Grevious Angel

she can do the Irving Kaplansky trilogy with the jazz quartet in swing..

she can cover Hank Williams, or the women of county
Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, KItty Wells, Dolly..Patsy cline..
(shes covered the men well)

she can Pick on the dark Gillian Welch songs.. NOt caleb mayer.. lots of 
remakes already... or Matty Groves..
some murder ballad... like from sandy Denny...

Lucy as dusty springfield...son of a preacher man...

let her move to popular culture... that she came up with.. 
Chicago.. 1970's...Lucy has donna summers hair...
cover warren zevon, jackson browne, bruce springsteen, (luce sings bruce)
elvis costello...(oh that was linda rondstadt.. )
Lucy can sing Linda.. singing Zevon
or buddy holly...

or maybe she should sing cole porter or gershwin and get susan werner to play 
piano....

oh there are so many covers

when are we gonna get a DOC DVD....
