I think you've got your wish! 1/4/03---Lucy in Rochester---and Big Tree Music listed as the sponsor, just the place you mentioned! It's on Lucy's booking agency's site, and I'm pretty sure it was just added because I don't recall seeing it before. See? I took up a thought that Lucy would come to Pittsburgh or Rochester for you, and it worked! (Yup...I'm sure that was the reason...) Would that everything could be that easy. It's not Pittsburgh, and it still means your waiting a couple more months, I'm afraid, but I can't do much about that! And now I am busy being cranky because it is the second rainy night in a row and the list is so quiet and I am getting so little email that I am contemplating turning off my spam filter and letting in all those offerings like "MAKE MONEY FAST!" (and the other, worse topics...but this is a family list, right?), even if I don't open any of them, just so as to feel more popular in the electronic world. I refuse to beg the people in Colorado and New Mexico for Lucy reviews for ths weekend, though. I did the begging thing already, and it didn't work too well. I will be strong...I will wait. At least Lucy picked the right time not to be on the East Coast, for her sake...I know we need the rain, but after a certain number of comical-enough-to-be-filmed trips to run errands with my umbrella repeatedly blowing inside out (and my shoes, seemingly in secret evil communication with my umbrella, always coming untied at the moment the umbrella blows inside out, as meanwhile I am stepping in a puddle and the rain is blowing directly toward me), I have decided that enough is enough! Sun now, please. OK, so it's 10 p.m. and it would be a little scary if the sun came out here NOW. But sun tomorrow, please. If I could think Lucy into a Rochester date, I ought to be able to think the weather into a nicer state, after all... :-) Benay ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V4 #236 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
