Wow...after a minor CD desire dip, you all have gotten me back in my usual state of wanting about five more CDs than I have (and about four more than I can afford right now). It's great to hear all the good stuff about Going Driftless...I haven't gotten a chance to order it yet from Red House, so now I'm running on the vague hope that Lucy will have it available in Bridgeport on Saturday. If not, I'll order it...I clearly can't wait until mid-October. Never heard of Hem, but sounds like I'll have to check them out, among others... Benay who tends to buy CDs not in pairs like Donna-who's-a-twin (file under Neat Things about Donna That I Know But Keep Forgetting), but singly, maybe because I'm an only child ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Sep 2002 11:30:47 -0400 From: "Pat Grismore" Subject: RE: [lucy-list] What's spinning in your world? I have been playing "Going Driftless" & a cd by Hem called, "Rabbit Songs". I tend to purchase new cd's in pairs....perhaps being a twin has something to do with it. I heard Hem on NPR's All Things Considered. Anyone else heard of them? They opened for Beth Orton over the summer and will be in the UK the same time as Lucy!!!
