The best way to describe it is an online puppet that allows you to move individual limbs and whole parts of various animals, quite bizarre. Requires Shockwave 8.5.1 If you don't like bugs don't click Lucanus, if you don't like someone, send them the lucanus animation you create :) http://www.lecielestbleu.com/html/main_puppettool.htm Matt - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. They seem to be OK overall, and seem to be in good spirits under the circumstances, from what I can surmise, but Sharon has a broken arm, and Suzi is banged up. And I've just been thinking about them all day. I don't really know if Suzi's on this list, but I know Sharon is---she has practically BEEN this list sometimes, and delightfully so, with her reviews and Ricola trivia contests. She isn't the reason I discovered folk music, but she's the reason I discovered the community surrounding it (anyone who knows her can hardly help but understand that)...if I hadn't met Sharon, I probably wouldn't know any of the rest of you either, and my life is so much richer because I have not only the music, but this community too, as part of it. I haven't known Suzi as long as I've known Sharon, but she is, among other things, the reason I have a lovely Iowa shirt, the reason I now know how to latch gates, and the reason I've read lots of really good writing from the Daily Iowan for which she just happened to be responsible! In short, Sharon and Suzi mean a lot to me, and I'm not going to say that it took a car accident for me to realize how much I appreciated them, because it DIDN'T...I already KNEW, long before this, how much I appreciated them. But I hope that at least to some extent they knew it too. And I'm incredibly sorry this happened to them, but I'm also just awfully glad that they're OK in the ways that matter most. Again, I really hope they won't mind my saying all this, but I simply couldn't bring myself to post anything else here without having said it. Now, what I wanted to say about the leather jacket poll...I knew the Lucy-list wouldn't let me down, and indeed it didn't! I am closing the polls now, but I got the most wonderful responses...it made me want to have the Lucy-list make ALL my life decisions (i.e., what shall I have for breakfast tomorrow: cereal or yogurt?), because it was just so much fun to see what people said! I'll preserve the anonymity of what everyone said individually, because it was off-list, but I got the most thoughtful, well-considered advice you can imagine. I tried to look for trends..."Black" voters often tended to be quite firm and decisive about their choice (I got the feeling a few might not speak to me if they saw me in a BROWN leather jacket!), while "brown" voters seemed to have a more relaxed, live-and-let-live attitude but nonetheless had a persuasive intensity all their own. I got a fantastically detailed analysis from somebody who's actually IN the leather business, which told me more than I ever realized there was to know about leather jackets...how neat is THAT? Along the way, I also got musical recommendations...and even a marriage proposal! I have been absolutely crazed at work, but I still owe individual replies to some of those who responded to my poll...the responses were just SO excellent, and by and large extremely helpful. So...my decision? Well, "black" won the poll by ALMOST a landslide. I don't like to think of myself as one who bows instantly to peer pressure (I prefer to look askance at peer pressure for a little while and THEN bow to it...), so I gave it some good, intelligent thought and then decided: black. Yes, if I do this, as I probably will if I can figure out the financial part soon enough, the leather jacket is going to be black. (If they offer me leather pants next, I'll go for brown...but it's Good Housekeeping, so I'm not going to hold my breath they'll be featuring or offering us leather pants anytime soon!) Anyway, thanks ever so much to all who weighed in on the choice. You are all very cool people. Of course, I pretty much knew that before...that's why I asked!
