Oh, the pain of not being able to get FUV at work! (No, can't even stream it here.) OK, logic says that anyway, they won't play anything that's not on the CDs...it's not as if Lucy's gonna BE there, right?...and White Christmas is the only one I can think of by someone else (besides her dad) that she's sung for FUV that's not on her CDs or Cry Cry Cry or Nod to Bob, and it's not the season for White Christmas. Still, somebody please take note of what they play... Wait...she's done More Than This for FUV, hasn't she? That does it..somebody tape this, please, just in case... ( the tower will look sucky in wedding pictures.) so they have been fighting this for 5 years.. for 5 years FUV has won case after case.. so now the FCC is coming to the bronx.. and there is a free concert SANS Lucy tomorrow at 1230 EST...dar will be there. christiine lavin (who had a show on air) so sign up.. sign on.. keep lucy on the air... sharon ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Jun 2002 21:57:55 -0500 From: " Gina" Subject: [lucy-list] Richard Shindell This is going out to the Kaplansky, Gorka and Lavin lists. I'm sorry if you get cross posting. But, I know that there are many Richard Shinell fans out there. There is a good noise on FolkScene currently. They recorded the most recent Shindell concert at McCabe's in Santa Monica, CA and are now playing it on the internet. To listen, you will need RealPlayer. Then just go to www.kpig.com scroll down to the end of the page and click on FolkScene. On the next page, chose Channel #1 (latest show) and chose your connection. The shows run repeatedly 24/7. The Shindell concert is only part of the show, so you may log on when something else is playing. Don't let this throw you. After Saturday or Sunday, the show will probably move to Channel 2. Here is the play list: FolkScene is heard 24/7 on two channels . Channel 1 is a new show each week. Channel 2 is three older programs.
