Anyway, here are two recent Lucy developments. I have been playing a tape in my car of "Lucy Rarities" that Kristen mailed to me. (Honestly, Kristen, where do you ever come up with those?!) Anyway my 6 year old son took to it so well that one day, out of the blue, he started singing "If you loved me, would you bring me roses....Would you lie for me, steal for me, LIGHT the devil?" (sic) I tried to explain to him that the singer was exaggerating which would become apparent if he learned the subsequent lines, "Would you call me angel, forget your own name, lie awake all night...lie awake all night?". Kids say the darndest things! My prized "I Love Lucy" calendar has re-appeared and is now up at work! My wife took a twelve month calendar of classic Lucille Ball shots from her show and pasted Lucy Kaplansky's face on each one. It's a gas. I actually think it would be funny to bring it to a show and show it to OUR Lucy. It reminds me of when my totally adorable nephew (I kid you not, a mass of blond curls and big blue eyes - that's all you saw when you looked at this kid)at 3 years old, came running up to me, waved his chubby little finger at me and in a very accusing tone said, "Smooth Operator." He got this from the then highly popular Sade song. Kids are very funny and you have to be very careful what you say around 'em. Unfortunately, we have to wait until December 13th (usually she plays here in October). At least I'll get to see her at the Kate Wolf Festival in June. susan in alameda ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Jun 2002 06:53:01 +0100 From: "donald.anderson" Subject: [lucy-list] Lucy's December Shows Anbody know when Lucy's planning her next trip to the UK ?
