It was my choice for WFUV's City Folk Songbook. I have to mention two new songs by other artists that my local radio station has been playing. Caitlyn Cary's "Please Don't Hurry Your Heart" and Patty Griffin's "Rain". Wow!!! She played it during the first set of the first show I saw of hers... and I started planning my road trips. :) I'm not sure that that would be the "grabber" for most people, though... In general... "Ten Year Night" and "Turn the Lights Back On" seem like good first-listen-picks... They've both got the amazing lyrics... and the vocal stylings... both of which are just sooo very Lucy. :) But... really... it would depend on the person's overall interest. That's what's so great about Lucy's music, IMHO.... there's quite a bit of variation... something for everyone! *grin* Be well - Libby (who gets to see Lucy in just a few days... whoo-hooo for the Barns on the 26th!!) ===== libbywiebel@yahoo.com http://www.libbywiebel.com "Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes." - Maggie Kuhn Yahoo!
