ABD so... i just got out of a series of meetings... and have found out that i will be leaving school essentially "ABD" right now... "all but defense"... **sigh** as grad students know... it's not ideal..... but then the real world isn't. unfortunate that ABD must be for only my MS, too! an ABD MS, though, is a prime reason for not sticking around for a potential PHD of any sort... ABD or otherwise! BUT... point of this is... i don't have the time to look right now... and i know that some of you might... or some of you might just know... does anyone have any idea where i can get a t-shirt that says in BIG BOLD LETTERS.... "ABD".... they've gotta make 'em... it's not an uncommon term... and it's not like i'm the first ABD-disgruntled grad student who wants to display it proudly on his/her chest... if anyone knows... let me know... i already pissed everyone off enough today... it doesn't look like i'll be wearing my "i sold my computer for a used acoustic guitar" to me defense... whenever that might be... *sigh* take care... and wish me luck on my d&*#(d parallel experiments... libby ===== libbywiebel@yahoo.com http://www.libbywiebel.com "We are blessed when we are fallen. Its about the artist formerly known as Prince and how awfully he treated a woman from Pittsburgh who drove in the rain with her husband to DC for a concert. They couldn't even buy two tickets (Hubby had to stay in the motel room). But this woman was publicly humilated by Prince for trying to give him her demo cd.
