Gina ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Mar 2002 11:08:24 -0600 From: "Timothy Bruce" Subject: [lucy-list] Cats and Lucy content Oh, Benay! I am so sorry to hear about your cat's illness and I hope that she can receive the care needed to recover. I know it's hard to see suffering in a creature you've poured so much love and affection into. Now, (forgive me!), the nasty part of this e-mail. I have a cat I don't want! Am I alone in this? I reluctantly let mom and kid adopt a "runt" long-haired farm cat from a student. Well he's no longer a runt! There are clumps of fur all over the house and for the past year, he's been pooping a couple times a week wherever he pleases. I was at the end of my rope about it until last night, when I decided to try Lucy therapy. I decided to modify certain Lucy songs I've heard recently to be more cat specific and sing them to him. Last night I started with: (Just because I leave the food and drink down there...) He Thinks I Still Care and (I need a cat like you...) Like A Hole In My Head These are Lucy covers so they aren't the best. Any other suggestions?
