I wonder what an obsessive Greg Brown fan would be like....(scary thought!) Being from Minneapolis and all, I have seen him through much of his long history. Maybe we'll see some of them at FRFF this summer (visions of "Ani! Ani! Ani!" in 1999). I wonder if Lucy's ever done harmony for Mr. Brown? Anybody know? You wanna see some twisted math? Last year I used 25,000 Worldperks miles to go to Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (kind of a splurge, but it was a SharonG-obsessive thing). On the way home, I volunteered to take another airline home (which got me home a whole hour earlier--tough choice!!) That same day in Amsterdam, my wife and child did the same thing. Result: three $400 credit vouchers from the same airline. Because tickets are SOOOO LOOOW right now, I have bought FOUR tickets with these vouchers--NYC last month (sorry I didn't review the shows, guys), myself and son to the Pacific Northwest next June to visit volcanoes, and me to Falcon Ridge next July. For the last one, I had to throw in $115 of my own money. But doesn't this sound like twisted math to you?!? Recall that the original ticket to Falcon Ridge that got me the voucher was a freebie as well! Now to only get another voucher on one of these upcoming trips to keep the cycle going! Anyway, hope the wonderful DarCamp community at FRFF will still organize as a body this year despite Dar's absence. I'll probably have to drop in on the Dar list a little more often to get the scoop, won't I? The FRFF line-up looks great already!
