I don't know how many people have heard me rant about the new aromatherapy underarm deoderant that Secret has come out with... yes... aromatherapy. I think it's the most hilarious thing... it comes in scents like "ambition" and "optimism" and "genuine"... Well I was curious and I had some coupons. So I bought some.... one in every "flavor" :) Now... I can't say that they've made me any more or less "ambitious" or "genuine"... and "optimistic"? Ha. :) I guess I'd have a problem letting my underarms take credit for that! But the whole concept is just so amusing. Is it like... if I use them... I'll have optimistic armpits? Or do I have to do the thing like the Superstaaaah woman from SNL and take a sniff every once in a while just to improve my overall ambition? I don't get it. It just makes me laugh! Or.... maybe it's for the benefit of the people around me... They will get a whiff... and then THEY will be more genuine... What are they trying to accomplish??! Anyway... the point of all this is that... this morning I had a little dilemma. I was applying my "ambition" on one arm... and I ran out! So I rushed to my medicine cabinet only to find that my only other option was "genuine".... so the other arm got "genuine".... So what happens now?! Is it genuine ambition?? Am I ambitiously genuine?? Are my little aromatherapy sense-buds going to get confused... sort of like when your housemate is cooking chili, cabbage, and cake all at the same time... your sniffer gets really tripped up! **sigh** I guess as the day progresses we shall see! But... you can bet this will all end up in a song someday!! This is too much pressure for the morning... :) Take care all -- and pray that I start getting some more sleep so that this sheer silliness doesn't last forever! *grin* Libby - -- - ------- Libby Wiebel ewiebel@cs.wm.edu http://www.cs.wm.edu/~ewiebel - ---------------------------------- "Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes." ~ Maggie Kuhn - ---------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Feb 2002 07:58:49 -0600 From: " Gina" Subject: Re: [lucy-list] optimism in a bottle Very funny Libby! - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elizabeth (Libby) Wiebel" To: Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 8:45 AM Subject: [lucy-list] optimism in a bottle > Up-front warning... no Lucy content... except for the fact that I > can't WAIT till the 13th when she'll be playing down by me! :) > > But anyway....
