Buffalo was snowed in, but Interstate 90 is cleared up. I would just allow some extra time to anyone traveling to rochester b/c the traffic is slowed down a bit near buffalo especially (some lanes have been closed for a while because of stalled construction). I am hoping to get a few folks together before and/or after the concert to make a whole evening of it . Can't wait to see the Doc perform in my hometown!!!!! :) ~Simona (loberant@yahoo.com) Djankah@aol.com wrote: Libby I am near Buffalo here....weather is fine....nothing bad forecasted for the near future, hardly any snow in Rochester...planning on being at the show....you will probably have most problems down where you are coming from, but up here should be fine.... good luck if you make the journey! john Simona L. I don't know what happened. But I also wanted to add that anyone needing any assistance about directions to or in rochester or any other info about the Flower City then don't hesistate to ask me. My email is loberant@yahoo.com and my cell phone is 412-491-2702 (I usually don't have it on, but I check my voicemail often). also, the website for the concert is www.12corners.com and I would suggest calling and reserving tickets. There are over three hundred seats, if you reserve a ticket you pay for it at the door and don't have to worry about being there early just to get a ticket. Last time I was there I found otu that there is a student discount for many shows. I can't promise one for this, but bring your IDs if you are a student. safe driving, simona Simona L. Hi Libby, et al - I get some of the airlines' regular emails about their weekend specials--and I noticed that USAirways has deals to Rochester this weekend from Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Laguardia. If you're interested, go to http://www.usairways.com/ and, under "Promotions," select "E-Savers." E.g., it's only $99 for a r.t. from Baltimore to Rochester if you buy online, probably cheaper than driving. (The catch is you fly on USAirways Express.) Have fun and travel safely if you go.
