Alice Peacock opened the show & sang a really nice acoutic set, she has a great voice. I was inspired enough to buy her CD but it has a band accompanying her & I don't think the songs sound as good. Also she has a really good voice & the CD doesn't do it justice, I think. Lucy came out with a bass guitarist & electric guitarist whose names escape me but both were really good, I felt. At one point they appeared to join in with a song & at the end Lucy turned around and said something with a smile & then told the audience, "I didn't know they were going to do that!" But she seemed happy they did. She did a really good show & kept saying things like, "wow, I am having a really good time." She loves the venue, the Memorial Hall, a semi-circular building with nice acoustics. She thanked the soundman saying it was the best sound she had had on the tour. She did her dad's parady of A you're Adorable... & her Brian Ferry story from last year, updated by the mention of how the throat pastille company sent her thousands of them (after they saw the article in NJ paper about how she had been seeking out their brand & BF had given her a pack) & then sent her a message saying, if you ever need any more let us know... All in all, a really nice show with everyone on stage enjoying it too. After her final encore (Singing(?) With The Angels) she thanked the audience again & said it had been a "smashing" time; practising her British sayings! She then went off to join Rick who had arrived that day from US we heard & sat just behind myself & my daughter for the last few songs.
