I'm sure that the rest of Lucy List Scotland were beginning to wonder if Lucy and Co had dropped off the face of the planet (or maybe were stuck going round and round a roundabout the wrong direction in the fog) since England has been keeping very quiet about the gigs there. Check out the latest free HMV magazine for a review of Alice Peacock's album Real Day - suddenly we can't seem to get away from her. Sounded like a great night. Shame we are not going to get Sheryl, Patty or MCC. Never mind, still looking forward to 15th Jan. Even Doc K was guilty of repeating the same stories almost verbatim 2 nights in a row. Thats what happens when you travel to see artists more than once on the same tour I suppose. Only thing is, the artist thinks he/she is playing to a different audience every night. I'm guilty of that too when I'm performing. The audience changes so why should I change my jokes etc Ian ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2001 23:47:58 EST From: Sdgold60@aol.com Subject: [lucy-list] trivia time I heard john prine's Sins of Memphisto and thought of Lucy and then i went to see the roches and Suzzy and Maggie Roche sang the Hammond song... how do they connect to Lucy? and its not that nerissa, katyrna and lucy sang hammond at FRFF 2 years ago there is a connection there... read the book.. see the film sharon I danced a lot of nights until the grass was wet It wasn't over yet Round 'bout 3AM you made a friend And I followed a lot of idle crazy thoughts because It's where the meaning was Though I tried to find it every other way ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2001 06:32:22 -0000 From: "Iain Geddes" Subject: Re: [lucy-list] landmine free world tour Round One You should change your jokes cause they're awful !
