Great to hear Lucy is playing Ashland again. That means I'll win the "shortest distance travelled" since I'm only 10 miles away. :-) The venue doesn't have reserved seating, so if you get there early enough you'll get to pick your table. Their food selection is minimal. I mean what kind of restaurant doesn't have a burger?? :-) There are plenty of chain motels/hotels right off the Interstate. I don't know anything about the Henry Clay Inn, but it is probably VERY close, seeing it's on 114 N. Railroad and the venue is 100 N. Railroad. don "You have some queer friends, Dorothy," she said. "The queerness doesn't matter, so long as they're friends," was the answer. -- L. Of course Lucy is wonderful singing "It ain't Me, Babe." Cliff Eberhardt just knocks me out with "I Want You." He is so convincing that sometimes I look at the CD player and say, "Really?" His treatment of this song is truly amazing. HE is truly amazing. If you EVER have a chance to see him in concert, you should go. He is an artist's artist. John Gorka - what can I say? When he sings "Girl of the North County," I melt. It's almost like a drug. These are just my own personal favorite highlights of the album, but all the songs have their own magic. So, for all of you who don't have this album, check it out on CD now and I be you'll buy it. If you like this one, there is another album that I bet you would like too. It's funny because the art work on the album is similar and done by the same person, I think. The album is called "Bleeker Street - Greenwich Village in the 60's." There is a Cry3 interpretation of "The Last Thing on My Mind." I simply adore this album. Both of these albums have brilliant artists doing terrific songs. www.cdnow.com is a great place to sample snippets of albums. I find that using Media Player gives me less distortion, but I guess it depends on your connection.
