I think I only heard "My Name Joe" live once, at a little coffeehouse show in the Bronx three or four years ago in the dead of winter, during a snowstorm. I believe she actually did "Still Life" and "This Is Mine" in that show too...of course, this was probably before the release of Ten Year Night, so the earlier stuff wasn't so much earlier then...but it was one of my favorite Lucy shows. One of the many things I love about Lucy's live shows is that she varies things...newer stuff may take precedence, but the older stuff tends to show up regularly too. (After several years of Lucy shows, I just heard "Mary and the Soldier" live for the first time at the Bottom Line in September.) So we who keep thinking about songs that have become relatively rare can still have hope that they will occasionally appear in the set list again!
