Hehe, j/k. My musical tastes have been a monoculture of "angry babe rock" as my dad calls it." See I love to know what people are listening to/reading/thinking etc.... I figure if ya have good enough taste to be listening to Lucy that you will have good taste elsewhere in your "culture". Tastes that I may not be aware of. Plus it is just fun to be a voyeur. I am still trying to get the feel for this list, (ya know what kind of people it is made up of etc.)....interests other than Lucy. Or maybe this is a list where "Non-Lucy" content is considered "not real content". That is cool also. As far as "Angry Babe Rock" check out Brenda Weiler at www.peppermintcds.com. I saw her in Chicago when I was out there this summer and fell in love. She is not as angry on her newest album, but just as cute. Anyway, I would still love to hear what anybody is listening to, or reading...etc... Barry "To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. The next update will happen on Sept 20 when Renee reports back on how the presentation went. Thank you all so much for everything you have done to help with this incredibly special item for Lucy. I can't even begin to imagine how she will react...i cry everytime i skim through the unfinished copy. I've received all the pictures, packages and letters that have been sent and I will finish compiling the book tomorrow. It's going to be hard to part with this because its extremely important to me but I'll be very happy at the same time when i drop the book into the mail (bubble wrapped of course!!!) and send it to Renee. I found the person on this list most like me ...in the way we feel about Lucy and her music and I am very proud to have Renee deliver it to her. I have been taking pictures of the "process" ...from my living room covered with your pictures, letters, ticket stubs, ads, etc (and i mean COVERED!!), to pictures of pages and the cover shot (which just says We Love You Lucy) and as soon as i have some money to develop them ill post them so that you can see what it looked like.
