Lucy performed two wonderful sets and played, in no particular order, other than the first and last song: Small Dark Movie Scorpion If You Could See Mary and the Soldier Ten Year Night End of the Day One Good Reason Five in the Morning Turn the Lights Back On Just You Tonight Broken Things and By Way of Sorrow (Julie Miller) More Than This (Bryan Ferry) The Alphabet Song and The Pi Song (Irving Kaplansky) new ones whose titles I'm not sure of: No More Excuses Back of His Hand Don't Mind Me Song for Molly Nowhere to Go Encore: Guinevere Lucy came out wearing her new sparkly red shoes and made some comment about the sound guy ("pay no attention to the man behind the curtain") which tickled my Oz self - we were treated to a few of her stories in between songs (the Riccola cough drops and her parents... :-), and she also came out during intermission and after the show to chat and sign CD's. sharon, Lucy sends "big love" and Dave, she says she'll try to incorporate The Swimming Song more often in her set now that summer is upon us - I thanked her for coming to Florida and told her we'd see her in Falcon Ridge! It was nice to be able to show Lucy there really is a fan base in South Florida - we'd love for her to visit more often... :-) Susan "I am not looking for no champion of my freedom, I am anything but anybody's foundling..." ~ Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V3 #128 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
