I haven't posted here in ages guys but I've been reading along... I have a question for those of you who are more in the know about the upcoming concerts than I am: is Lucy still scheduled to play at Woodyfest this July? There's a chance I might go there ... by then it will be 1 1/2 years since I've seen Lucy last, so I'm definitely ready for some of her good music! One song begins with the verse "guilty as sin" and the verse that4s been repeated several times goes like "I know where you4ve been" 2. Another song begins with " ... (means I can4t understand the first words) you4re open like a book" and a repeated verse is "written on the back of his hand" 3. The next song is one she wrote for a Wendell Alexi (no, that4s the basketball player ...) aeh, the Alexi Lallas (hm, that4s the soccer player I guess ..), well, a Alexi whoever movie and it begins with "Don4t mind me" and it4s about being totally devoted to a rockstar ;-) 4. That4s a song she actually wrote for her mother/parents and it begins with "Mother, you4re sitting on the bed" (or so) and a verse she4s repeating is "it4s time to go" 5. Last but not least a song in which she sings "the world keeps turning round and round" and "my heart keeps turning upside down" Any ideas ?!? Lucy K screen savers Are there any other Lucy fans out there crazy enough to put her smiling face on the desktop of their work computer? If so, I have the screen saver for you! (Of course, everyone's idea of the perfect Lucy photo can't be the same, but this one certainly captures a real Lucy spirit.) Go to http://www.flemtam.com/lk.html and right click on the black and white photo of Lucy. Select "set as wallpaper" and you are all set. The photo fills your entire computer screen and the black and white tones are very gentle on your eyes. Try it for a week and see if things don't start improving at work. Money back if not fully satisfied! ETimothy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 May 2001 15:04:05 -0500 From: "Timothy Bruce" Subject: [lucy-list] Song titles... Alex, Herzliche willkommen! Komisch! Komm hierher und besuch uns! Wir freuen uns dich kennenzulernen! (gees that was hard!) Now, with the greetings done, here goes....Anybody feel free to correct me if I go astray on any of these song titles. 1. >>One song begins with the verse "guilty as sin"<< That would be a new song which I believe will be called "Guilty as Sin" 2. >>Another song...a repeated verse is "written on the back of his hand"<< That would be a new song which I believe will be called "Written on the Back of His Hand" 3. >>The next song is one...it begins with "Don't mind me"<< That would be a new song which I believe will be called "Don't Mind Me" (detect a pattern here yet?) 4. >>a song she actually wrote for her motherand a verse repeating is "it's time to go" That would be a new song which I believe will be called "Song for Molly" 5. Last but not least a song in which she sings "the world keeps turning round and round" and "my heart keeps turning upside down" That's a Stever Earle song which may end up on the CD. "You're Still Standing There". Over and out! ETimothy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 May 2001 16:09:24 EDT From: Sdgold60@aol.com Subject: Re: [lucy-list] "Larger than life..."
