Any suggestions on things to see and do in the Village while we are there? We'd like to "tour" some of the venues made famous in the folk era. Are any still around (besides BL)? Can anyone provide addresses? Where can you get the best Reuben sandwich in the Village? I'm just a small-town, southern boy, so I could really use some advice from you guys. Please respond privately. There are deli`s here in CA that claim to fly their stuff in daily from NY, but its not the same. I think that its the waiters telling you what you SHOULD have! And just try getting a CA deli to "send a salami to your boy in the army!" Ok, sorry but thanks for letting me reminisce. . .Enjoy the show! It is my sister's restaurant and it is fairly new. It's called SCALINI FEDELI (steps of faith) at 165 Duane St. between Greenwich and Hudson 212-528-0400. Do yourself a favor and try it Brian ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Apr 2001 18:02:59 -0400 From: "Paul Rafanello" Subject: RE: [lucy-list] Answers to Heading for NYC For eats, I would highly recommend The Cupping Room Cafe on 359 West Broadway, Soho. (212) 925-2828. They have a website at http://www.cuppingroomcafe.com/ I am down in that area for business frequently, and it's one of my favorite stops. There is an Indian restaurant just up the block if you want to clear your sinuses.
