What a great night it was. Before Kim hit the stage Yvonne Tipping , a local girl sang a few numbers which were very good indeed. I could not put my finger on who she sounded like but she had a very good strong voice. Anyway it was Kim who we all wanted to see and we were not disappointed. She played songs from all of her three albums as well as three new ones which will no doubt be included on her fiorthcoming album. She has a very amiable stage persona and chatted to the audience willingly. This was a solo acoustic tour and when she supported Trisha Yearwood last year you could tell she clearly enjoyed performing. The was a truly great moment when the audience sang along with her when she sang "I'm Alright". Kim was beaming from ear to ear. I got a chance to talk to her at the end of the gig and got the obligatory autogragh and photo for the album. A great night by a great singer songwriter.
