The venue is a small upstairs room in a pub. It's a rectangle but the artist plays across the shortest width, so there's about 2 rows of seats in front of the stage the rest are of to the sides, a very silly layout! Don't ask me what songs she played, I recognised some and others were new to me. She did do a version of "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" though! As usual, she looked and sounded just great. She told a nice story of buying her mum a powerbook so she could be online. Lucy did requests which were called to her. I would have liked "Broken Things" which she does brilliantly, but I was too chicken to yell it out! I still can't believe this lady is playing in such small venues here, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. A very pleasant way to spend an evening. ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V2 #325 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
