Welcome to the List. How big was the venue in Sheffield? In Glasgow the Ramshorn holds just over 100, and according to the Ian Iains, Glenfarg is only 45. How do they all do it with only 45 punters?! Hopefully it won't be duplicated. These UK shows are making me sooo envious. "More Than This" is a great Roxy Music classic that was released on their album, Avalon in 1982....your memory was correct Brian! I love that song and actually heard it today on the radio covered by 10,000 Maniacs(post Natalie Merchant). I can only imagine how great it sounded when Lucy sang it!! George Jones did sing, "He Thinks I Still Care"...I don't know who wrote it either. I'm sure Lucy did a great job with that one as well. Thanks for the review Brian. Now I have to figure out how to get Lucy to sing "More Than This" in Feb back here in the good old USA. She will be playing in Montclair, NJ where I met my husband....it was "our song" back in our college days. Maybe Sharon can help! Legendary basketball Coach and CBS Sportscaster Al McGuire is very ill and battling leukemia. This is possibly his last Christmas. Coach McGuire is undoubtedly one of the warmest and most genuine humans around. He was very generous to my family during a somewhat troubled time. If you think about it, as you're addressing your holiday cards this season, send one along to the Coach. It's only 33 cents in postage, and would be a terrific holiday gesture. The address is: Coach Al McGuire Franciscan Woods Hospice 19525 W. North Ave. Brookfield, WI 53045 Thanks. Speaking of which, sharon is off to see one of MY favorite husbands tonight at the Bottom Line's Downtown Messiah!! I leave him in your care, Ms. G..... Peace, Sheila There are TWO now!! It was our 4th time seeing Lucy live and it was the best yet. Only just made it in time for the concert the 50 mile journey from near Manchester took over 2 hours to complete (1 hour 15 back home). Lucy was brilliant despite (as Brian said) the intermittent problem with the guitar connection. We could have sat there all night listening to her.....but the concert finished all too soon. I'd also like to mention that Thea Gilmore was the support act and was good too. Bob Harris played tracks from both Lucy and Thea last Saturday (every Saturday www.bbc.co.uk/radio2 22.30-01.30 GMT). Do we have to wait until this time next year to see Lucy in the UK again?
