I've heard enough of his stuff at this stage to warrant taking a plunge and buying an album or two. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks. >> In my view, "Slant Six MInd" is a masterpiece but I also am crazy about "Dream Cafe" and "further in." And while I like "Covenant" his newest alot, I would recommend starting with one of these earlier works. Do NOT get the recent Live record---not worthy of the great man's talents. So I opted for the "one mail with all the stuff for all the lists" cuz that makes it easier for me :-) I was running a search for Mark Erelli on the net and came across a "cultural arts magazine", as they call themselves, I had never seen before and found reviews for Peter, Richard and Lucy there which I thought you'd might want to see as well. My apologies if this has been posted before. review of Somewhere near Paterson: http://rambles.net/shindell_paterson.html review of Ten Year Night: http://rambles.net/kaplansky_ten.html review of Trouble with Poets: http://rambles.net/mulvey_poets.html and, to round things off: review for Cry, Cry, Cry: http://rambles.net/crycrycry.html Does anybody know anything about that online-magazine? It looked pretty interesting. There is a review of End of the Summer as well and lots of other stuff.
