I'm new to the list though I've been listening to Lucy since The Tide. I'm not really a big folk music listener but Lucy's one of my faves in the genre, along with Nanci Griffith and Tish Hinojosa. I first heard of her from a tree of "Other Artists" spun on a Nanci Griffith mailing list about 5 or 6 years ago. I caught the McCabe's show on Sat and made an attempt at a setlist. Maybe someone could help out with the songs I don't know. Was my first time seeing her live and it was great. Chatted briefly with her after the show and thought she was charming. Dublin isn't exactly huge, so I wouldn't limit yourself to just Dun Laoighre. I'll get back to ya privately. Anybody ever get any exact dates on when Lucy is going to grace these shores in December ? (there - some lucy content. which reminds me that I must send in the scan of herself and Paul Brady singing together from last year) Gerry ------------------------------ End of lucy-list-digest V2 #275 ******************************* This has been a posting from the Lucy Kaplansky mail list digest To unsubscribe send mail to Majordomo@smoe.org with "unsubscribe lucy-list-digest" in the body of the message
