.. well i cant put into words that i saw last night
except i saw harvey and jessica( it was good to see you both)
and claire and billy and LIz and missed beney but knew she was
below me
and i got one of those most uncomfortable seats.. and then
Patty Griffin started on time and did a great BIG set
she sang three new songs off her to be released cd-
she rocked the place 
and that was a warm up for emmylou to join her on mary

and then as it was a show running tight on time
the woman herself and SPY BOY took the stage
emmylou is a rocker in the same vein as lucy
her band takes over and they blow the place away 
buddy miller is the supreme guitarist
he subtly commands the band
and EMMY LOU was off..
she sang you almost all of RED DIRT (kickin) GIRL 
and then reached into the wrecking ball and spyboy cd
and sang LOVE HURTS with buddy miller doing the 
richard shindell- john gorka -ellis paul part..
umm.. doc emmy DOC EMMY
alternative versions..

and there was boulder to birmingham and hickory wind, orphan girl.
the maker, call my children home, all MY TEARS, meet me at the 
wrecking ball, deeper well wayfaring stranger
someone else jump in

emmylou harris is mesmerizing and JENNY Go see her..
for the woman for THAT band

someone name the LUCY K band..though the members change
she needs a spyboy name for her band..
she and emmy are alot in style
thought joan baez now has lucys voice..

well ny may have a subway series...last night we had emmylou
to two ovations...and multiple encores..
