Hi everyone, sorry for the cross-posting but I thought some of you Dar & Lucy listers might enjoy this as well:) Greetings my friends, Well, now that I have your undivided attention due to my 'catchy' subject line(perhaps I should be working for the National Enquirer!), I will enlighten you. Saturday night...2am(technically Sunday morning)...Richard Shindell....and Rosie O'Donell...How are these three things connected you ask..? Well, allow me to explain. It was Saturday night, I was home alone :O, exhausted from 10 grueling hours of packing 'everything' I own into boxes for a November 1st moving deadline...now, if only I could find a new apartment to move to! As I curled up on the sofa with a stack,(and I mean a STACK!) of Dar & Richard Digests I had printed out to try to catch up, I had the cable on but I really watching it. I just kind of had it on for background.Of course I realize that I SHOULD have gotten up and put a Richard, Dar or Lucy CD on, but I was far too comfy on the sofa. Anyway, a rather silly movie from a few years back came on called "Exit To Eden", starring Dana Delaney, Dan Akroyd and yes, Rosie O'Donell. Well, as I intently reading the digests, the movie went alone it's merry way, I watched periodically when something interesting seemed to be going on. Towards the 'big finale'(and I use this term loosely) of the movie(which of course included a fight scene, some wrestling to get the gun away from the bad guy, etc)...Rosie O'Donell portrays an undercover cop that arrives 'just in the knick of time' to shoot the villain from a mere 100 foot distance. Let me just say that I only know the plot because I saw this ridiculous movie once before, years back. Anyway, Rosie O'Donell proceeds to climb up the trellace to the balcony of a mansion to save Dana Delaney. As Rosie reaches the balcony, she says this,"Sorry I'm late, I got hung up on the WISTERIA!" As I heard her say that word, I looked up at the television is shock. I was quite amused and I immediately thought of all of you, my fellow Shindell listers and how you would probably get a real kick out of my rather insane little story! To be honest, I had never heard of the word "Wisteria" before Richard's song. This just goes to show you that when you LEAST expect it you can have a Richard Shindell Moment!!! Because of this, "Exit To Eden" is now permanently entangled in the vine of my memory!! **Hmmm...I wonder if "Wisteria" is on the soundtrack? Hee-hee..somehow I kind of doubt it! :-) Your friend and part time movie critic, Renee 'Batgirl' Polgar dscully73@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. I hope this clears up all the confusion! Actually, those two together could probably do some great stuff!
