I have seen Duke play with Lucy several times, and he is on Ten-Year Night too, I believe. He was wonderful!! I was in my car with my 7yr old son, Erik and two of his friends. WFUV was the station and one of the friends asked if it was a country station and I said,"no". He wanted me to change the station to WPLJ and for some reason I did(I never change my radio station for anyone). Anyway, the Backstreet Boys were on and my son's friends were singing along. They couldn't understand why Erik didn't know the words. My son's response, "well at least I know all the words to Lucy Kaplansky's Ten Year Night"!! He made me so proud. Probably on the EFO list, but I can't find it now... Wait. I found it. It *was* from the EFO July 2000 Emailer: "EFO has recently been featured on a wonderful compilation by the good folks at WDIY in Bethlehem, PA. Entitled "Studio Sessions Volume 1", this fine collection features live in-studio performances from an impressive and diverse array of artists: John Gorka, Susan Werner, Ellis Paul, Lucy Kaplansky, David Grisman, The Nields, Rev. I ended up going to the web site and clicked on the Studio Sessions, Vol. 1 link. I sent an e-mail and as of last week they still had copies available. Anyway, I ordered this cd and it came in the mail today. Yes, all of the above are on it. I was kind of hoping that TN's song, "Easy People," would be the Probe version, but it's still wonderful. Kind of in the middle between "Play" and "The Probe." And for you Kennedys fans the live version of "The Coo Coo" is GREAT!!! and shows exactly why they need a live CD. :-) I'd comment further, but I'm still in the middle of the cd; listening to Ellis Paul right now. don D'argo: "Well now I can only speak truth. And that comes as good and bad news." Crichton: "Allright. Give me the bad news first." D'argo: "The bad news is that you're married and you must endure as a statue for 80 cycles in a strange world. Crichton: "What's the good news?" D'argo: "Chiana and I are having fantastic sex!"
