Like Jenny, I'm dying to know what "don't mind me/don't blame me" sounds like. Is it a rarity that she'd play it at a show, or is there still some hope out there????? Unfortunately I haven't seen her in a long, long time :-( But I'm hoping to make it to Makor. Can any of you guys pull some strings to see if she'd play it? Thanks guys! I'm pretty new at posting here as well, but having heard Lucy sing "Don't Blame Me" in Lexington last week, wanted to share my feelings about the song. Lucy explained that the song was written for a movie...which may happen sometime in the future. The good news is that hopefully she'll include it in her shows so more and more of you can hear it and see her perform it live. She described the song as a cross between "Hopelessy Devoted To You"...and another I wish I could remember the title. The lyrics are incredible. If I'd read the lyrics before hearing the song performed, I'd have been very surprised. I would have been expecting a slow, dreamy presentation. The lyrics are passionate and intense...and so is Lucy's performance. It's strong...kinda fast and very provacative. Nothing shy about it.....it's perfect! Not only makes you want to say the words to that someone special....but say them just like that!!!! Leaves no room for doubt. It's a strong, sexy song....fits Lucy like a glove! I almost began this post with "I'm no song critic,", but I guess I just became one. I hope the movie doesn't drag and hold up the release of this song. I need to hear it over and over again. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jul 2000 18:40:12 +0100 From: "Jenny" Subject: [lucy-list] the song Thanks for esplaining the song to me...that's what i would have imagined...I like the stronger passionater fierce and fiesty ones. I'm not so keeny on the slow dreamies...but slow lucy is better than no lucy at all which is worse than almost everything... jenny* ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jul 2000 21:40:42 +0100 From: "Jenny" Subject: [lucy-list] A site fer sore eyes Yo lucy listers, Excuse the pun.
