Listening to 'til we outnumber them RIGHT NOW for the first time ....BRILLIANT!! Bringsteen's Riding in my Car will keep me singing in my sleep ...and just heard Arlo comment that it is only recently that people let their TVs and their radios do their singing for them and that he is happy that albums such as this continue the tradition of people singing together .. The purchase was part of a big splurge - I also bought Mermaid 2 so its the next CD on the stack Next on the wish list is Cars on a Gravel Road by Lucinda Williams ...haven't heard it yet so any comments would be great Of course, all this listening is a poor substitute for going to hear and see Lucy ..hopefully she will be touring Australia soon??? Just wondering if anyone in the UK, or the US, is acquainted with a spectacular guitarist named Gordon Giltrap? I saw him at a house concert at the Blixt's in New Jersey last Sunday. What a treat! He was funny, and a brilliant guitarist/composer. FYI For anyone thinking about getting tickets for the Singer-Songwriter/Guitar Great concert with Lucy, John G and friends, at the Keswick Theater in PA in Nov, the tickets are already on sale (and selling!). ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 Jun 2000 21:25:02 EDT From: Sdgold60@aol.com Subject: [lucy-list] dont mind me/dont blame me Lyrics as forwarded to me...
