"hey julie miller" hey buddy miller, and they responded to him. he knew everyword and sang along. and may i say IF you Miss buddy and julie you have missed a show of your life. they are magic on stage their rapport is incredible. julie is hte funniest woman, she cracks the audience up and herself up that is her charm thye put on a GREAT show , singing lots of stuff from both their cds and they had larry campbell who a few of you would have a crush on for sure...on fiddle. julie did most of the broken things cd and buddy from his latest (what do you expect) then their encore. julie calls for the Doc... and the admiration, she told buddy she wants to sing wiht DOC everyday and she is gushing on stage and to see doc's face was priceless, she was surprised honored and then she broke into this smile.that was stage wide then the talent of Lucy K, he she has to harmonize on this song MAggie, she never sang before, didnt know the words ofcourse i watched doc watch julie and she fell in with harmony and word and it was seamless. the DOC pulled it off as hte professional she is... SHe is the harmony queen that was a taste of what she will do with GOrka and Cliff and cheryl which is OUR next Bottom line show _ april 21st... so someone out there cannot say they do not know when *I* will see doc next, send those stalker notes NOW..you know who you are... after the show i walked out with lucy red lipstick on my cheek and i wished her safe travels as she will be away from NY for a while and ofcourse i said by to rick too.....so those of you who have lucy in your town next -Go and if buddy and julie are there, see them too lucy will be at the bluebird in nashville soon , keep your eyes on the prize well i have to go on with my day sharong thanks to lucy for adding to a great show ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Mar 2000 09:52:53 EST From: RockinRonD@aol.com Subject: [lucy-list] Slaid Redux Slaid Cleaves' newest CD, on Rounder's Philo Records imprint, is "Broke Down." I never said he was brand spanking new, just relatively new. I understand the first record is very good as well. But this one is a masterpiece IMHO. Hope you like it. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Mar 2000 10:33:02 EST From: FISH1994@aol.com Subject: Re: [lucy-list] Slaid Redux I like Slaid, I saw him as the opener for Tom Rush last week at The Turning Point. He has a website too, which explains his name and other interesting facts about his life. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Mar 2000 16:28:20 EST From: Witchaywm@aol.com Subject: Re: [lucy-list] an night to remember Thank you, Sharon, for that wonderful review of the Julie and Buddy Miller show...I felt like I was right there chatting with you and the four year old folkie. Is there a web page that serves as a directory of web pages of singer/song writers? For instance, I would love to know if Andrew Calhoun has a web page...
