Considering the success of their first one, and a great tour, it seemed to be a logical course. Any news? Considering the success of their first one, and a great tour, it seemed to be a logical course. Any news? >> Ironically, the news is that last night's show was the C3 "official" swan song. Richard is releasing his new CD, "Somewhere Near Paterson," on February 8th, and therefore will be spending his time touring and promoting it. Same thing with Dar's upcoming CD, which I believe is called "The Green World" and which will be released later this year. And Lucy will probably start writing material for another CD soon. Each of them has indicated that C3 was a one-shot. I'm sure, though, that from time to time they'll all make appearances on each other's CDs (in fact, Dar and Lucy sing on Richard's new CD), and make guest appearances at each other's shows (which they were doing even before C3), and occasionally play songs from the CD ("Cold Missouri Waters" is still a staple of Richard's shows, and Lucy still sings "Speaking With the Angel" and "By Way of Sorrow.") But as for anything more than that . . . not likely. What WOULD be cool is for three OTHER singers to pick up the C3 theme, and to spend 18 months of THEIR time promoting other people's music. I just can't imagine anyone doing with the heart and camaraderie (not to mention a willingness to put their own solo careers on the back burner) they way Lucy, Richard and Dar did.
