We sweated up a storm waiting on line outside. As the 5:00 show ended, Harvey popped out, and said she was wonderful. Shortly thereafter, Mike Evans popped out. Mike mentioned that Lucy covered Joni Mitchell's "Carie". Sadly, she did not perform this during the 8:00 set. I looked for Sharon, but she was nowhere to be found. I got something for you Sharon! Anyway, here's the setlist. It was similar to the 07.07.99 Fez show. Speaking With The Angel End Of The Day Five In The Morning One Good Reason Broken Things Ten Year Night Turn The Lights Back On The Swimming Song Promise Me For Once In Your Life If You Could See/I Still Miss Someone Somewhere Out There Scorpion E: Still Life E: The Ballad Of Mary Magdalene (brought a tear to my eye again). My wife loved the show. She really liked the dimension that John Herrington added. I did as well. I felt Billy Masters detracted from Lucy's sound at the 07.13.99. Was he better at the Maxwell's show? After the show, I asked Rick out the Karen Savoca/Lucy joint bill on 07.30.99 at Bodles Opera House in Chester, NY. He did confirm that Karen & Lucy would sing together, but wouldn't identify the songs. 3 down, and 1 to go. What a great month for Lucy.
