I may even take the 1.5 hour train ride up just to see her on that Sunday. A bit of trivia for us Lucy obsessed, at Stacey's recent Turning Point recently she invited Sloan Wainwright up to sing with her (and Steve Forbert- another audience member), which might be the only time two sisters of songwriters that Lucy covers have shared a stage. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 Jul 1999 21:22:28 PDT From: sharon g Subject: [lucy-list] new bedford show just a short review of the new bedford summerfest i started my day with cliff eberhardt singing from borders if you have not heard that cs-run to buy it rather than staying for chris smithers, i went to 1.5 hours of susan werner- who was i great viove and form then christine lavin for over 1.5 hours. i then went to a workshop on "amourous encounters" with cliff, susan and steve tiltson s brit in round robin each sang love songs encounters or the lack of- susan did a stunning version of st. marys of regrets- cliff sang happy love songs anot his usual- i loved and was not loved back it was mr steve that surprised. me in the middle of his set he broke into 10 year night- the famous of folk amourous encounter songs and it was even stranger to hear cliff call him a slut the urban myth lives in new bedford- cant wait until falcon ridge sharonG _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
