Not that I am completely, utterly blameless ;) And regarding that jacket. She wore it with her entire Armani jacket to her gig in Chicago last fall. After hemming & hawing -- very briefly -- she even told us how much it was worth. heehee I think the circumstances in which she received said outfit only intensify her attachment to it. And why *shouldn't* she wear it? It looks great! Basic black; you'll never go wrong. I'm curious to know if anyone has figured out the tablature yet? If so, and if you don't mind sharing, could you please pass it along. And as a fellow Aquarian and wierdo, I agree completely about wearing an article of clothing over and over--in Lucy'd case a black leather jacket--because it make us feel comfortable (I can't seem to take off this tan, microfiber safari type jacket these days, I just love all the pockets). However, you and I don't get up on stage in front of crowds on a regular basis. And many times the same fans are in those audiences as they tend to travel to see artists like Lucy over and over, a practice I admit to myself. Therein lies the wisdom of perhaps changing outfits once in a while. But hey, I criticize no one for this practice. Anyone who could write a song like For Once In Your Life is beyond reproach in my book! And damn if Lucy doesn't look great in that jacket!!!! I'm new to the list. I'm a big fan of Dar Williams and we talk about Lucy quite a bit on the Dar-list. After getting her new CD, Ten Year Night, it didn't take more than one listen to determine that Lucy deserves a fan base of her own and is headed for great things in her own right. The first time I heard of Lucy was when I bought my first Richard Shindell CD, a little less than a year ago. I wondered, who is that gorgeous voice singing harmony on so many of the songs? and found her name in the album credits. I saw her with Cry Cry Cry in January, and I'm going to see her solo in Timonium (Mays Chapel) on April 9th. Is anyone here in my area or is anyone planning on going to that show? Well, I am looking forward to being a part of the list. Kelly :) One question...is there a way to get a "digest" version of the list instead of individual messages each time someone posts? You can email me privately if you know how to do this.
