Scott will be playing in conjunction with a reading from the new book Lost in the Grooves, Scram's Capricious Guide to the Music You Missed, which "explores the nooks and crannies of the pop music world, unearthing lost gems from should-have-been major artists." Not surprisingly, a couple of GT/LF albums (Real Nighttime and Interbabe Concern, respectively) are included in the book. The reading will be at Moe's Books, 2476 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley on Monday, April 25 at 7:30 PM. The FREE show is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at The Rite Spot Cafe, 2099 Folsom St., San Francisco at 9 PM. Scott "will be doing a solo set focusing on the two albums featured in the book." Also on the bill is Savage Republic / 17 Pygmies guitarist Jackson Del Rey, playing classic Savage Republic songs for the first time in more than a decade. And don't forget: Scott Miller will be performing at Epic Arts Center, 1923 Ashby Ave, at MLK (across the street from the Ashby BART station), Berkeley, on April 22. Anton Barbeau is also on the bill. Show starts at 8:30; $5-10 sliding scale donation. http://www.loudfamily.com ------------------------------ End of loud-news-digest V7 #2 *****************************
