However, he will be at the other three shows, and even cooler, two of them will feature Kenny Kessel on bass!! Filling in on drums: Bradley Skaught of Belle Da Gama, who has played with Scott before and even written a couple songs with him. If you've missed seeing Scott really rock out with a band, and hearing Kenny's exceptional bass playing, then these are the shows for you. They will be playing loads of LF & GT classics. To recap: Wednesday, Aug. 18: Stephen Manning of Statuesque, Anton Barbeau, and Scott Miller of the Loud Family, all solo acoustic, at the Epic Arts Centre Teahouse, Berkeley, CA. Thursday, Aug. 19: Statuesque and the Scott Miller/Kenny Kessel/Bradley Skaught power trio at the Hemlock Tavern, San Francisco, CA. Saturday, Aug. 21: Anton Barbeau, Statuesque, and the Scott Miller/Kenny Kessel/Bradley Skaught power trio at the Fox & Goose, Sacramento, CA. Statuesque is the newest signing of 125 Records. They are from England, which is exciting as we're now international. Their CD, CHOIR ABOVE FIRE BELOW, will be out in August. You probably already know Anton Barbeau -- he's in the process of collaborating with Scott on some new material. Also, 125 has been selling the Loud Family back catalog for the past couple of years -- with one exception: the EP SLOUCHING TOWARDS LIVERPOOL. Why? Because the wholesale price was too expensive. We were finally able to negotiate it downward with the distributor, so we now have this fine EP in stock for only $7. What's more, we have it on both CD *and* cute 10" vinyl!! You can order it at http://www.125records.com/shop.html if you need to complete your LF collection. ------------------------------ End of loud-news-digest V6 #4 *****************************
