You'll meet spoiled Marin County brat Denis, whose wealthy do-gooder parents want to drag him along to the Unhand the Whales benefit featuring rock star Stick. Denis thinks he doesn't care about whales -- until something truly, uh, magical happens. Anyway, if you haven't heard this before, you're in for a treat. And if you have heard it, well, now you can enjoy it again in the ever popular MP3 format. There's also a short addition to Ask Scott, posted on Thanksgiving. It looks like Scott will be playing a brief solo set at the Popular Noise Foundation Benefit on Dec. 21 at SF's Bottom of the Hill. (I'm assuming it will be brief as there are 10 other bands on the bill -- no word what time Scott will be going on, but the show starts at 8.) For more info, check out http://www.popularnoise.org/events.html Admission is $10. - --Sue Trowbridge trow@slip.net ------------------------------ End of loud-news-digest V2 #8 *****************************
