[ Subject: Re: [loud-fans] 2017: And that's the horn for the end of the third quarter... Lots of things I'm really loving this year: Mark Eitzel, Eyelids, Tinariwen, Clientele, Thurston Moore, Peter Perrett, Old 97s, Sneaky Feelings, Sarah Bethe Nelson, The Bats, and The Unthanks have been steady favs. The latest GBV record is also extraordinarily good and worth checking out if you've jumped of the Pollard wagon at some point. As Roger mentioned, the Statuesque is fantastic and free! Also really digging Chuck Prophet, Cotton Mather, Mark Mulcahy, Robyn Hitchcock, QOTSA, Dream Syndicate, Monks of Doom and Spoon as well. It's been a good year for some amazing reissues/legacy things -- the Dion record is out of this world amazing and it's great to finally have Bright Phoebus back in print. That 2 Steps record is something special, too.... - -----Original Message----- >From: Dan Sallitt >Sent: Oct 11, 2017 7:23 AM >To: loud-fans >Subject: Re: [loud-fans] 2017: And that's the horn for the end of the third quarter... > >A lot of these are still in my backlog, but I really went for the Cotton >Mather.
