I'm not sure where I stand on the what it sounds like front, just because of all of the different voices and production values involved, but I do think it is the strongest collection of Scott 'pop' since at least IbC. I love DfD, but that isn't an album that you get a lot of immediately. Here, as on PABARAT and some GT albums, there is a lot more that seems accessible, even if there are also many layers to delve into later on.
